Canan Residence is under full-security for 24 hours of the day, from the main entrance to the whole blocks and parking lot. The central security control furnished with illumination is supported by the CCTV camera system. All flats and social facilities are protected by sprinkler fire extinguishing system. Each block has lifts and staircase pressurized against fire, and fire lifts. The lifts provide access to the parking area. The Canan Residence has the standard hardware of power generator against power cuts, water tank with a capacity to meet the needs of all flats, and a water purification system.

Constructed on the rocky ground, which is the strongest area of the Anatolian coast, Canan Residence has been designed to conform to the earthquake regulations. Reinforced concrete and static projects have been prepared under consultancy of Prof. Zekai Celep, and have been approved by İstanbul Technical University, Faculty of Civil Engineering. The reinforced concrete carrier system has been established with C30-C35 concrete quality and St IIIA steel in international standards. The special jacketing system on the façades of buildings is supported by heating and noise insulation between floors. Heating insulated aluminum frames, comfortable heat-insulating glasses, thermostat valves on radiators provide considerable saving on heating expenses. The gross floor height of 3.20 meters enhances the comfort of living.
